The Guesthouse section of The Nunnery offers a range of rooms all of which are completely unique. No two rooms are the same but all have a touch of grandness and a warm appeal. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities and a communal kitchen, laundry, lounge and courtyard is available for your use.
A free continental breakfast is included each day (8am to 10am) and free tea, coffee and hot chocolate is available for whenever you have the urge.
Single room
We only have one Single Room in the Guesthouse and it is in high demand so advance bookings are highly recommended. Our Single Room has polished floorboards, TV, single bed (linen, towel & soap supplied of course), bedside table, chair, lamp and radiator or fan, with a view over the Carlton Gardens. Simple but clean & tidy, Guesthouse rooms are serviced upon request.
Small Double/Twin Rooms
Much the same as the Large Double Rooms but smaller and not quite as grand with a Queen size bed (double) or 2 singles (Twin). Guesthouse rooms are serviced upon request.

Large Double/Twin Rooms and Family Rooms
Our Large Double/Twin Rooms can also be configured as a Family Room (4 people maximum).
No two of these rooms are the same but all have high ceilings, polished floorboards, marble fireplaces, a King Size bed (double) or 2 single beds (twin) and a bunk bed (family), TV, radiator or fan, bedside tables and lamps, linen, towels & soap supplied. Guesthouse rooms are serviced upon request.
Please note that due to the intrinsic beauty of this 1860s building and it's heritage listing there is no elevator and in order to keep our prices low we do not have a porter, therefore you have to carry your own luggage (hey a bit of exercise never hurt anyone). Only 2 rooms are on the ground floor.
